The reason why I love the Good Wife so much is because I love how much it gives importance to women. I like the way it empowers women to be better versions of themselves, how strong women can be that even though others put us down and yet we still rise above the occasion stronger than ever. I also like the way the show the different sides of the law , how informative the show about it and how complex law is and for some reason it got me very excited. I also love the romance and relationships that the 3 main women characters ( Alicia Florrick, Diane Lockhart and Kalinda Sharma) build for themselves, it gave me the opportunity to know how career minded women handle relationships. Lastly, I really love this show because, of the clothes! I love how each female characters' personality is shown through their clothing. It shows how these women take care of their images and their femininity and how important it is to take care of that. These women are my "when I grow older goals" , I really value the independence this show gives women, it's like having my own sister souljah moment.
Moving on , the reason why I love film the Notebook is because of it greatly shows the power of love and destiny, That love and destiny will surpass time and that if two people are meant for each other, they would always find a back to each other's arms. I love this film because of the hope that it ignites in everyone's hearts that we should never interfere with what was planned for and that everything happens for a reason. It also thought me that happiness is a choice, that we should fight for the things that means the world to us and that we should never give up those people that we love the most. Lastly, it made me realize that, we will only be the person that we are if we happy with the choices that we made, the person who we are is defined by the choices that we choose.
These show and film are just a few of the things that inspires me, they impart lessons that I can apply in my life, something that would make me a better person , a better version of myself.
